Armageddon valley is the presumed site of the end of time. The Megiddo hill in Israel is its centre, a high plateau created by successive ruins of 16 ancient cities, the starting point for the contemporary apocalyptic myths.
The film shows the microcosm of the valley, where relations collide between man and land on the scale of History and Time. Between the tourist, archeological, agricultural and military presence, a new nation claims an ancient territory; the only apocalypse is the slow sitting up of the camps, the cities, and the dreams of eternity. The land surface engulfs their ruins with indifference.
